The Art of Possibilities Continues to Grow!
Halfway to Our Goal: Thank You for Your Support!
This fall, our Stewardship 2026 Campaign has been filled with energy and gratitude. We launched our Giving Campaign on September 7th with the theme The Art of Possibilities, and over the first eight weeks, many of you helped bring that theme to life. Through videos and shared stories, church members and friends reflected on the ways the loving congregation of FCCWP has turned possibility into reality.
To celebrate the “art” woven throughout our community, we also planned and enjoyed three free events in Winter Park—welcoming many of you as we explored some of the wonderful experiences available around our beautiful church.
We hope these moments have inspired joy as you consider your giving to FCCWP. We are currently halfway to our goal, and your pledge—of any amount—continues to make a meaningful difference. Thank you to all who have already participated with a pledge!
Our Stewardship Committee is made up of dedicated volunteers from our church family, and we invite you to consider your pledge for the 2026 year as we continue creating new possibilities together.

Lil' Dab
FCCWP supports Ward Chapel and its food pantry which helps to feed our neighborhood families. Your donations to our Lil' Dab Box are sorely needed, especially while school is back in session. Please consider bringing in non-perishable food items and placing them in the box in Fellowship Hall. Don't forget that BOGOs at your favorite grocery store are perfect opportunities to stretch your donation dollars! Thank you!

NEIGHBORHOOD GROUPS
Omg! It’s already February! Thanks to all who made Dinner “Off” the Avenue such a success! The Neighborhood Group Leaders stepped right in, as they always do! Members of the group planned elaborate themes and carried through with over the top decorations, costumes, and food! Those of you who weren’t part of the planning were an important part of the success! You came and supported your group! We had such a good time that I wouldn’t be surprised if this became an annual event! Thanks to all!
There will be a Neighborhood Group Leaders’ meeting on March 8th after church in the conference room. We will review and assess our Dinner “Off” the Avenue and plan for our end of the year event. NEIGHBORHOOD GROUPS ARE ALIVE AND WELL!

The Caring Cooks: Serving with Love in Times of Loss
The Caring Cooks is a compassionate ministry dedicated to supporting families during one of life’s most difficult times—the loss of a loved one. This faithful team lovingly prepares, serves, and cleans up after receptions following church member funerals, offering hospitality and comfort at no cost to the family.
To help continue this important ministry, we invite you to support The Caring Cooks by donating toward supplies such as food, tablecloths, plates, cutlery, and more. Your gift ensures that we can keep showing up with love, warmth, and a good meal when it’s needed most.

Come Alive! had such a great time on our Day Trippin’ outing on January 10th with 20 women joining us for a fun, laid-back day at Rockledge Gardens, Ryan’s Pizza & Pub, and Cocoa Village. We’re so thankful for this welcoming group of women and the easygoing time spent connecting, laughing, and exploring together. Huge thanks to everyone who carpooled, invited friends, and helped make it such a relaxed and joyful day. And to everyone who RSVP’d—even if you couldn’t make it—we loved hearing from you! All are always welcome, and we can’t wait to share our 2026 event calendar with you soon..
Triple T Is Back: Third Tuesday, Full Plates, Big Plans!
2026 is officially here, and the Spirit Keepers are kicking off the year the way we do best—around a table with great food and even better fellowship
We rang in the new year by taking over our very own SK “private room” at Imperial on—wait for it—the THIRD TUESDAY of January. And that, friends, is why we call it TRIPLE T: Third Tuesday Table. Easy to remember… even for folks like me!
Now don’t get it twisted—we don’t just eat. January is when we eat and plan. Big things are cooking for the year ahead, including the announcement of our annual MEN WHO COOK ON A MISSION dinner. This is no ordinary meal—it’s a full-blown culinary experience featuring secret recipes, bold flavors, and some very confident chefs. Stay tuned for the date and time and come hungry for food and fun.
Coming up right around the corner is our Boggy Creek Project—a day that’s memorable in more ways than you might expect. Last year, with the combined efforts of Come Alive, a fantastic local contractor, and faithful partners, we accomplished some truly meaningful work. We can’t wait to do it again.
And remember this: on any given Third Tuesday of the month, if you’re looking for good laughs, good fellowship, and good eats—you’ll find the Spirit Keepers out there somewhere, sharing all three.

Elizabeth Hooker Book Club
Elizabeth Hooker Book Club-February 2026 Update:
We had a great discussion in January when we gathered to discuss “James” by Percival Everett. Thank you to all who participated!
On Sunday February 22, Sarah Gibbs will lead us through “Everything is Tuberculosis” by John Green.
“Everything Is Tuberculosis by John Green is a nonfiction book that explores the history, science, and human tragedy of tuberculosis (TB), arguing it's a preventable disease of poverty driven by human choices and inequity, not just bacteria. Weaving personal stories, like that of patient Henry from Sierra Leone, with historical context and scientific facts, Green reveals TB's deep cultural impact (the "poet's disease") and its ongoing devastating global toll, advocating for better access to existing cures and challenging the perception that TB is a disease of the past.”
All are welcome to attend our meetings, and regular attendance is not required. We meet in the Parlor on the fourth Sunday at 6:30 pm every month (except June/July summer break and December holidays). Prayer Shawl Ministry At FCCWP
February is the month we celebrate Valentine’s Day. It’s a time to show our love for others. One great way we show our love is creating beautiful prayer shawls.
Do you like to help others during a time of need? Then come and join our Prayer Shawl Ministry group. We extend an outreach of compassion to individuals who need our warm prayers and hugs of compassion due to illness, death of a loved one, or other difficult circumstance happening in their lives. We meet on the 3rd Monday of the month, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the church Parlor.

Even if you have never knitted or crocheted, we would love to have you participate. It’s a fun and relaxing time together. We have members who can help teach you these crafts. We also have yarn and patterns to help get you started. Just bring your own knitting needles or crochet hooks.
We knit and crochet prayer shawls and create and give baby shawls to infants when they are baptized at our church. In addition to prayer shawls, you may knit or crochet scarves and hats.
